Academia

For the moment I am officially out of academia, having been hired to come out to CERN in order to work on the commissioning of the ATLAS hadronic calorimeter. When I was at the University of Chicago, as all U. of C. students, I spent most of my time swamped with work....and loved it. I have listed here some of my more interesting and enlightening academic adventures, as well as a few links that seem to support the general endeavor of conveying some of this stuff to the curious observer.
My favorite part is here: The Integrated Sachs-Wolfe Effect: Its origin, status and future. Its a site developed in fulfillment of the requirements of a course taught by Wayne Hu, The Cosmic Microwave Background. Everything else is below. Keep in mind that this is naturally only a small part of what I did in my studies, but nevertheless an important part.
